The fire that burns in her to write was ignited at an early age, winning several essay contests in middle school and high school but it wasn’t until her English teacher, Mrs. Jenkins introduced her to a poet named Johnnie Griffin that she realized how powerful her writing could be.  Through studying just one of her poems Michelle learned that she could take hurt, disappointment, loneliness and confusion and transform it into words of love, passion, healing and strength.

     Blessed by God with many gifts and talents she is a song writer, rap and spoken word artist, she has written and published two books of inspirational poetry and motivational prose “Journey to Elevation words of life” and “The Journey: Worth it all”. God has allowed her to travel and perform in Greece, several cities in Germany and Egypt sharing the stage with artist Dorrey Lin Lyles and others. Under the leadership of Dr. Charles and Diana Lyles at Victory First Presbyterian Deliverance Church she is also an ordained elder honored, willing and capable to minister the gospel.
